Vintage Replica 1990s German Mens National Team Soccer Jersey was seldom if ever worn, has been in storage for more than 20 years, and is in pristine condition. The jersey is primarily green in color with a bold vertical 5.5-inch silver/white panel running down the center of front. The fabric has a subtle texture/pattern that produces very fine vertical stripes throughout. There is an embroidered sewn-on black and silver DEUTSCHER FUSSBALL-BUND crest on the left side of the chest with black, red, and gold stars above, and an Adidas logo in the center panel. The jersey has a V-neck of ribbed green and white and the three iconic Adidas stripes run from the collar to the end of the short sleeves. There is also a multicolor sewn on patch identifying the jersey as an official garment of Deutscher Fussball-Bund and a tab with the colors of the German flag sewn into the left side seam near the bottom of the garment. The backside has no lettering. The colors are very sharp and strong and there are no noticeable holes, rips, tears, pulls, stains, smudges, marks, fading, or other noticeable signs of wear
...but there are some wrinkles and creases resulting from the years in storage.
This jersey was made by Adidas in England and is 100% polyester. It is labeled
L (US)--but it is best to rely on the measurements. They are are about 24 inches from underarm to underarm (that is, 48 inches in circumference), 23.5 inches from the “V” to the bottom of the front of the garment, and 29.5 inches from the top of the collar to the bottom of the back side. It measures about 18 inches from the collar to the end of the short raglan sleeve.
