Vintage Lipstick Holder Bakelite Mirror With Chain

Offered for sale is a super vintage item that I have owned for over 30 years. I don’t know much about it, except that I like it. It is a lipstick tube attached to a mirror by a chain. The tube is black with pairs of gold zig zag lines running up it giving it an Art Deco flair. The bottom of the tube on the inside read patent 507.749. The tube has never held lipstick. The person I purchased this from told me the back of the mirror is bakelite. It is pink. The outside of the mirror has a decorative gold rim and the mirror is beveled. There is a tiny loss of mirror at some of the edges. The mirror measures 2 3/4 inches by 2 inches. The tube is 2 1/4 inches high. The chain is 1 1/2 inches long. This is a fantastic item and I have never seen another one.
