Handpainted Floral Porcelain Oyster Shooters
Very rare set of six handpainted floral porcelain oyster shooters, sippers or slurpers. The oyster shooters are skillfully painted with large open pink, cream, and yellow poppies on a decorative art nouveau leaf-shape blank over a green and cream ground with a luster glaze and gilt trim, after RS Prussia.
Measure 4 5/8" long; 2 7/8" wide
Very good original condition; slight gilt loss to the edges. There is one dish with a small area of edge roughness which may be a sliver or a chip in the porcelain. Two dishes have the original price label of 5 each.
Not marked, but typical mold and coloration found in
porcelain produced in Germany.
