History of this particular line of Revlon lipstick as follows:  In 1951, to combat Hazel Bishop, Revlon added Indelible-Creme Lipstick to its Regular Lipstick but was forced to abandoned it in 1953 when the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) got agreement from advertisers that lipsticks can only claim to be ‘indelible’, ‘smear-proof’, or ‘non-smear’ if the word ‘type’ was used with such descriptions. Its replacement was Lanolite Lipstick (1954), a greasy, lanolin-enriched lipstick, in non-smear and regular formulations; however, sales were disappointing.
Tube measures approx. 2-1/2" tall to top of rhinestone design, silver tone metal with inset red rhinestones, there is yellow glue residue around the stones and wear to silver tone/plate metal finish in spots throughout
Gold plated tube, there are some small spots of wear throughout
There is some lipstick that remains, about a 1/4" down from the top rim
