Fame SC Fungicide works by interfering with respiration in plant-pathogenic fungi and is a potent inhibitor of spore germination and mycelial growth. The active ingredient, fluoxastrobin, moves rapidly into green tissue via translaminar and xylem movement. The molecular design of fluoxastrobin provides increased leaf systemicity and uniform leaf distribution, giving it an advantage over other strobilurin fungicides. Application of Fame G Fungicide may be done at seedling germination or before or after seeding and any seed emergence to ryegrass, bentgrass, fescue, bluegrass and other turfgrasses. Optimum application timing for control of seedling diseases is just before, during or just after seeding.
