FRAME AND SPECIMEN ARE IN EXCELLENT LIKE-NEW CONDITION. THERE ARE A FEW TINY LOOSE SPECKS INSIDE THE BOTTOM OF THE FRAME THAT CAN EASILY BE SHAKEN TO THE FRONT OUT OF VIEW (these were present when purchased).

WHAT ARE NEOFOSSILS:
Neofossils are a creation of Christopher Marley wherein select species of vertebrates are assiduously skeletonized then embedded in an organic, stone-like matrix. Species used are those which are either harmful to humans and are removed from populated areas, or that are commercially propagated and are taken from an established food chain, thereby minimizing the impact on wild populations while benefiting indigenous people in their respective areas. Orchards in some areas in Indonesia have been so decimated by fruit bats that farmers have gone to such extreme measures as virtually covering their entire orchards with netting. Fruit bats nonetheless descend on the orchards en masse and are caught in the nets where their bodies create a rather macabre covering over the crops. However, they also present a unique opportunity for Pheromone to explore a fossilesque use for their skeletons.
