This listing is for a beautiful antique English porcelain pedestal compote or cake/dessert stand.
The lovely compote is decorated with colorful hand painted floral bouquets in shades of pink, lavender, violet and red with green foliage on a porcelain white ground, bright green border and inner band. The plate has a nice scalloped and moulded scroll design on the outer edge with reticulated heart and panels below. The compote is further embellished with gold trim.
It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
Measures 4 1/2" high with a top diameter of 9 3/4" and a base diameter of 4 1/2".
